St. Patrick’s Day Parade

The Atlanta St. Patrick’s Day Parade is the city’s longest-running festival. It recently celebrated its 134th running since launching in 1858, and today, this historical, family-friendly event is a can’t-miss event. The parade, which will travel through Midtown Atlanta, kicks off at noon and lasts throughout the afternoon. Multiple streets will be closed for the parade, so we don’t recommend trying to drive since parking will be limited. To make it easier for you and your group to get to and from the parade, rent a charter bus with one of our experts and have a professional driver drop you off near the festivities. We’ll be there to pick you up when the parade is finished, too!

Shamrock ‘N Roll Road Race

If day drinking isn’t your thing, consider sweating it out during the Shamrock ‘N Roll Race. Burn a few calories and put money towards a good cause. This annual event is hosted at Atlantic Station and features Kids 1K, 5K, and 10K options for race participants. The Shamrock ‘N Roll Race is organized by the Junior League of Atlanta (JLA) and all proceeds from the race go towards financial aid for projects and programs of JLA’s community partners. Prices for the race begin at $15 and go up to $40, depending on the category and time of ticket purchase.

Party at Park Tavern

Looking for a place where you and your group can let loose with delicious drinks, live music and dancing? Head on over to Park Tavern, located on the edge of Atlanta’s iconic Piedmont Park and right next to the Beltline. This restaurant and bar is known for throwing various St. Patty’s Day-themed events in the weeks leading up to this Irish holiday.

Parking at Park Tavern can be tough due to its location in the heart of the city, so why not take away the stress of driving and leave that up to Falcon Charter Bus? Most buses even allow you to bring alcohol so you can pregame before the big party. Just check with your reservation expert ahead of time.

St. Patrick’s Green Mile Block Party

If members of your group experience FOMO on occasion, we recommend attending an event that allows you to visit multiple places at once. At the St. Patrick’s Day Green Mile Block Party, you and your friends can barhop to multiple bars and restaurants across Midtown without paying any covers. You’ll be able to enjoy complimentary themed Irish beverages, food and drink specials, party beads, music, and more. If your group is in search of the “perfect 10” of parties, this event is for you.

Rescue Dog Games

Not all St. Patty’s Day events need to include green beer and live music. One of Atlanta’s most iconic festivals just happens to fall around St. Patrick’s Day every year and is the perfect excuse to celebrate this Irish holiday with your furry best friend. All dogs and their humans are invited to the Rescue Dog Games in Piedmont Park. This festival brings together pet rescues and organizations to raise awareness in the Atlanta area to “adopt, not shop.” During this festival, your group can talk to and sign up to volunteer with pet shelters around the city and potentially meet and adopt your next best friend. The can’t-miss part of this festival? The VIP (Very Important Puppy) Fashion Show featuring adoptable dogs from the participating pet rescues.

Do you and your friends want to bring your pups to this festival? Don’t stress about carpooling—rent a charter bus for your whole crew! Most of our transportation options allow you to bring pets onboard as long as they are in carriers: just check with our experts at the time of booking.
